We Weren't Looking to Start a Skincare Brand
We were just parents.
Parents who had tried everything, every "clean" cream, every "natural" balm, every product that promised safe ingredients and delivered something else entirely. Our child's skin was struggling, and the shelves were full of solutions that weren't really solutions at all. Hidden synthetics. Misleading labels. Products that called themselves clean but couldn't hold up to scrutiny.
We kept looking. We kept reading labels. We kept coming up empty.
And then we stopped looking forward, and started looking back.
The Answer Was Older Than We Expected
The turning point came when we returned to something simple. Something ancestral.
Grass-fed tallow, the same ingredient generations of families relied on before the modern beauty industry told us we needed something more complicated. We started slow-infusing herbs the old way, letting time do what shortcuts never could. We rendered our own tallow by hand, from our own cattle, on our own farm.
The results were undeniable.
Not just for our child's skin, but for our own. For our family's. For the neighbors and friends we quietly started sharing it with. Word spread the way it always does when something actually works.

Today, R&R Collective is made on a working cattle farm in Decatur, Texas, the same land our family lives on, the same cattle we raise and care for every day. Our tallow is grass-fed and grass-finished, hand-rendered in small batches right here on the property. We don't buy from bulk suppliers. We don't bleach, deodorize, or chemically process what we make. We don't rush the herbal infusions.
We make everything the way we'd make it for our own family, because that's exactly how R&R started.
Every jar leaves our hands and goes directly into yours. That matters to us. It always has.

What Makes R&R Different
We render our own tallow. Most brands purchase tallow from bulk suppliers. Ours comes from our own grass-fed, grass-finished cattle, processed by hand, in small batches, with nothing removed and nothing added.
We don't cut corners on the process. No bleaching. No deodorizing. No chemical processing. What you get is tallow the way it was always meant to be, full nutritional integrity, straight from the source.
We slow-infuse our botanicals. Our herbs aren't added for marketing. They steep the old-fashioned way, over time, so the skin benefits are real, not decorative.
We source from a veteran-owned ranch. Our tallow comes from a ranch in Decatur, Texas, operated by veterans we trust. That relationship matters to us.
We make everything in small batches. Every batch is handcrafted and personally overseen. That's not a differentiator we're proud of for its own sake, it's just the only way we know how to do this well.
